Sitges --> Barcelona (E) photos only

Today is my birthday, which started last night with Anke in Sitges.

With Anke I travelled back north to Barcelona by train and in Barcelona I met up with Mr. Harry, who is the father of one of my friends. He handed the key for the free (and fully stufffed) apartment where I am going to spend Christmas and New Year the coming weeks.

Several friends from The Netherlands are coming down to visit me and somewhere in January 2002 I'll continue my travels again.

And waking up at Ankes parents apartment in Sitges was really something relaxing. The sun was shining bright and while sitting outof the sun I was really getting a chance to get sunburned again.

And after breakfast Anke and I took the train back to Barcelona. Here you see Sitges city along the coast.

And what did we find at the newspaper store at the station? The EL PA�S, Spains national newspaper, featuring this crazy Dutch guy who is looking for places to stay in Spain.

Its very strange to see myself LIKE THIS on the front page of the CyberPa�s section...

In Barcelona I met up with Mr. Harry, the father of one of my friends at home. He had given me the key of his business apartment in Barcelona, where I also received a little birthday present. Ham anyone?

Mr. Harry took me along for a dinner at the famous top restaurant Con Fayos in Barcelona city centre. Here he poses with the proud owner Michel.

Harrys former colleague Luis joined us for dinner.

And... Well, it was the first time I at those stingy things like these. Lovely!

As Harry is a steady customer at the Con Fayos restaurant, owner Michel presented Harry with a pretty unique Christmas gift: a signed wine bowl with Harrys name on it!
