An enormous square that makes you think you are walking in the 17th century: the Big Market Square. Nice fact, the fourth house from the left is the cafe where Karl Marx founded the Communist Party.

EasyEverything is the biggest internet shop in Europe, in Brussels there are 3 floors with internet-computers!

Sophie is great in cooking, she likes to heat up Vietnamese food too.

Sophie picked me up at the centre of Brussels, she is my hostess for this day.

We watched the sun set from the balcony, a great view with the BIG Atomium at the left... Between the Atomium and that Chinese tower you may see this little dome, this is a part of the Royal Palace where the crownprince of Belgium lived with his wife.

...and the same Botanic Garden right now.

It great to see how Brussels tries to conserve it old architecture. New building are built against and behind the original side-walls.

Back home at Sophies place again, this is her cat Minou.

Republished Reports

It took me many months from 2023 to 2024 to import all the daily reports – written two decades earlier – manually into WordPress. Dead links and obsolete ancient codes were removed. Databases more secured. And this way the texts became readable for another 20 years. This process is still going on at this moment!

Restored Photography

All photos were taken with a Sony Mavica photo camera which took 640×480 pixel photos and stored a max of 15 of them on a hard floppy disk. In 2023 all photos have been manually enhanced by AI technology to 866 x 649 size – or you would have needed a magnifying glass or a monitor dating back to 2001 to see the photos correctly.
