Huh? Heading back to Dublin again? You are giving up? Or do you have to be in Dublin again for a media appearance to promote this website? Yes, indeed, the latter!
Today I had to wake up at 8.15am to clear my throat. At 8.30 I would get a phone call from a producer of the Gerry Ryan Show, the most popular radioshow on the Irish radiostation Radio 2FM.
When he called, the appointment was set for the live radio interview at 11.30am.
That was good and I rested my head on the pillow again.
Alan had to go to his work around 9.30am and said goodbye. I thanked him for letting me stay here for so long and for letting me sleep in today (again). It was fine with him, he had an enjoyable time. And my breakfast was standing ready on the table. Oh my!
The 3-minutes talk with Gerry Ryan was pretty funny. He didn’t really go deep; he spent over 2 minutes being so amazed by the fact that I am travelling the world for free while he has been hosting his radioshow for such a long time now…
But it was all to gain some more invitations in Ireland, so then such a popular show must do good! Gerry Ryan is really a big name here, and his show is probably more popular than the British Steve Wright in the Afternoon show.
I received a lot of respons from people who listened to the show and I noticed that in my mailbox…
After I woke up Shamus in the living room (he sleeps on the couch), I had some cereals for breakfast.
*Shamus starts up his Playstation and settles himself*
At 2.45pm my train would leave and take me back to Dublin again. This time the ticket was paid by the Irish television channel TV3. They really wanted to have me as a guest in tomorrows’ Breakfast Show and arranged everything, just like the day I flew to Vienna.
When I arrived at Heuston Station again, I got on Bus 90 to the city centre and got of at Temple Bar – Dublin’s lively Cultural Quarter.
And at this location I found the Eliza Lodge guesthouse, I would stay for free tonight. It is quite a luxureous hotel and all paid for by TV3… I settled my stuff and found the internet café where I wrote this report down for you.
Time to hit the city tonight!
