Reports
During my travels, my compensation for free accommodation for one night, was for me to write a daily travel diary. Of how I got to my next location, the people who would host me, the food I was offered and everything else. Below you find the archives of the highly extensive reports. Know that English is not my native language and most reports were written at high speed around midnight. Enjoy.Monday, 17 December 2001
Barcelona --> Castelldefe (E) photos only At the moment photos only. Stay up to date with publication of a report through the mailinglist.
After arriving in Barcelona after spending my night in the COLDEST train all the way from Madrid, I found myself a hostess with Evelyne Holland, who lives just south of Barcelona, in Castelldefe.
At her home I enjoyed her curry and rice and was I joined by Anke, a Dutch lady who is spending some weeks of vacation in Spain. Anke also invited me for later this week at her parent's apartment in Sitges.
I met up with Evelyne's lovely daughter Margot and her husband Francoise and basically spent most of the night at the dining table talking about Holland, Spanish habbits and about Evelyne who had moved to Spain after falling in love with her current husband.
