Reports
During my travels, my compensation for free accommodation for one night, was for me to write a daily travel diary. Of how I got to my next location, the people who would host me, the food I was offered and everything else. Below you find the archives of the highly extensive reports. Know that English is not my native language and most reports were written at high speed around midnight. Enjoy.Sunday, 25 November 2001
Margate --> Durban (SA) - photos only No full reporting about this day possible. Enjoy the photographs.
Travelled from Margate the 125km to big city Durban where I was invited to stay for a day at the [url=www.tekweniecotours.co.za]Tekweni Backpackers Hostel[/ulr]. Probably this will be the last backpacker's lodge in South Africa.
I maybe have had enough of them now. Some people asked me why I was suddenly staying at so many lodges lately. Well, I have one simple answer for that: I had no other invites in the Transkei area.
And just to skip it would be a shame.
Tekweni was fine, great people who run that place! Interesting to meet up with Katie and Britt again also...
