Wednesday, noon. Heading to the train station to take the train toward London Gatwick Airport. Sean and I both headed towards The Netherlands. He for a short vacation and I to prepare for my South Africa Adventure.

The Guardian (sponsor, sponsor, sponsor!) is a great newspaper!!!

At the airport I met Ash, Seans best friend, who both are spending a week in The Netherlands and Germany. Eventhough the plane would leave in ten minutes, there was always time for a beer in an airport pub!

The Boeing 737 from Easyjet.com took us along.

And again going into a plane. Its becoming an usual thing for me!

A few hours later I arrived in my hometown in The Netherlands: Zwolle! Here I'll stay a few days until my plane towards South Africa will depart in Amsterdam. Good to be back again, but never stay too long in Zwolle.

Saskia, who just arrived from work, part(ner) of my backup team, screamed and yelled out loud when she saw me again. Great lady!

At the student room of one of my friends they show me how my chronicle that I write for a Dutch newspaper looks like in print. Pretty neat!

Of course I had to eat carabonara speciale, my friend Erics speciality! Delicious!!!

And before I knew it I got attacked by the ladies in the house. Ramon is getting ready for a party and of course, needs some make up. This was the part where I got a complete tube of glittergel on my head! Reason: for us you are a star, so now you also blink!

Oh my God! How do I get it off my face! Glitters all over the place!

At the studentpub Het Vliegende Paard in the centre of Zwolle with Erics girlfriend Brenda. Long time no see. Great talks.

At the local discotheque The Q: a group shot of my neighbour Marjolein (left), me, Gerben (tongue?) and friend Max.

Well, it really started to become a very blurry night. Thats why...

And the barmaid Eva, also a friend of mine, offered me some free Q-cocktails!

That happens when my friends get hold of my camera. Party pix all over! Marjolein with Ricardo, pretending a serious relation with each other. .

And around 3.30 am a great bunch of people ended up in the bardancing Back To The Roots
