Reports

During my travels, I received free accommodation for a night in exchange for writing a daily travel diary. This diary documented how I reached my next destination, the hosts who welcomed me, the food I was offered, and other experiences along the way. Below, you will find the archives of these extensive reports. Please note that English is not my native language, and most entries were written quickly, often around midnight. Enjoy!

--> Tessenderlo (B)

I got all the time to work up my reports and still relaxed after the Antwerp-night cause the hosting family brought me to the next place in the afternoon, where I had fancy talks in the backgarden in Tessenderlo.

I got up at 10 oŽclock and the family would have breakfast outside in the garden at 10.30 in the morning. Mother Ingrid was just finished reading the Saturday newspapers out of this region and breakfast was served with a cup of warm coffee with milk and double sugar.

After this breakfast I checked my emails. This really was relaxing, because I could be busy on my website with all the time on my side, without the hury or rush of getting away again.

Ingrid told me sheŽd bring me to me next address too; the place Tessenderlo was only 19 kilometres away from Geel – why should I hitch that piece?
